CORPORATE
INFORMATION
Our company produces and sells reeds for weaving in the textile industry. Part of our company’s English name, “Reed,” is called “Osa” in Japanese. An “Osa” or “Reed” is mounted on a loom for weaving fabric, and it establishes the proper density and order of the warp yarns while guiding the passage of weft yarns across the warp plane and performing the beat up of the weft at the fell line. As such, the reed has a critical role in producing the finished fabric and establishing its quality. Our company’s reeds are recognized by textile production companies around the world as being of the highest quality, and fully 70% of the reeds produced at our Yoshikawa factory are exported all over the globe. We produce various kinds of reeds ranging from warp preparation reeds to weaving loom reeds.
